Tongue cancer can be treated surgically. Depending on the size of the tongue cancer and the stage of the cancer, the width and depth of the surgical treatment varies. Some of our patients may require postoperative radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy. However, in all my patients, despite major surgery, I am able to maintain speech. With the special techniques I use during surgery, my patients can even continue their teaching profession.
