What are the Symptoms of Oral Cancer?

  • Painful mouth ulcers (sores) that do not heal for more than a few weeks
  • Swelling in the neck of unknown cause
  • Spontaneous tooth loss or wounds that do not heal after tooth extraction
  • Unexplained numbness and numbness of the tongue or lips
  • White and red areas in the mouth or tongue that do not change their location (these areas may be precursors of cancer)
  • Speech disorder of unknown cause
