The most common symptom of larynx cancer is hoarseness lasting longer than 3 weeks. Other possible symptoms of larynx cancer include:
– Hoarseness or changes in voice tone
– Difficulty or pain when swallowing
– A palpable lump in the neck
– Persistent cough
– Persistent sore throat or a sensation of a foreign object in the throat
– Difficulty breathing that causes a whistling sound
– Difficulty breathing in advanced stages of the tumor
Some patients may also experience bad breath, weight loss, and severe fatigue.
