Larynx cancer is one of the cancers that can be treated with a chance of success when caught at an early stage. When we say early stage, we are talking about a small tumour and cancer that has not spread to the surrounding lymph nodes. In early stage laryngeal cancer, I use laser techniques used in intraoral surgeries or robotic surgery, which has come to the agenda in recent years. With these surgeries, it is possible to surgically remove the disease and a large number of my patients do not have a temporary or permanent hole in the throat.
